Is there anything more refreshing than icy cold watermelon on a hot summer day?
This is really a simple recipe to make these refreshing summer day treats for your family and friends or your guest. I added lots of lime to this recipe, and the zesty acidity of the lime is just enough to brighten up the sweet and juicy watermelon. This is super hydrating and full of natural nutrients and sweetness so that we can eliminate adding raw sugar.
Prep Time: 4 to 8 hours to freeze
Making Time: 15 minutes
40 ounces of cubed watermelon
Zest of 4 limes
Juice of 4 limes
1/8 teaspoon of rock salt
1 tablespoon honey (optional - Add honey if your watermelon is not sweet enough)
Blend cubed watermelon with lime juice until smooth.
Check the acidity and add more if needed.
Add rock salt and lime zest and mix well.
Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze for at least 4 hours overnight or until solid.
Enjoy the refreshing watermelon lime popsicle!
