ALOO TIKKI CHAAT

If you are wondering what Aloo Tikki Chaat is, then Aloo Tikki means small potato cutlet, and Chaat is a savory South Asian snack dish.

Mainly it is a simple and tasty North Indian street snack food. Chaat is very common in Indian houses. My husband and I love spicy and tangy food. Specifically, in the evening, we love to have a variety of Indian street snacks like phuchka (panipuri) and jhal muri (bhel puri), Aloo kabli (a sweet, sour, and salty snack made with boiled potatoes tossed with tamarind sauce, and spices), aloor r chops (potato cutlets) and samosas. So I make this very often.

This tangy and spicy Aloo Tikki Chaat is one of the fav chaat dishes, where crispy Aloo Tikkis are topped with boiled garbanzo beans, boiled potatoes, lots of yogurts, and mint chutney, tamarind chutney, and topped with chat masala, Vaja masala (Dry roasted spices), and Sev. The dish has sweet, sour, tangy, and spicy flavors and a creamy and crunchy texture.

This is one of our favorite dishes because of its sweet, sour, and spicy flavors and a creamy and crunchy texture.
