Prep Time: 2 hours and 30 mins

Baking Time: 15 minutes

For Pizza Dough:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons)

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

  • 3/4 cup warm water

1 mascarpone cheese

4-ounce smoked salmon

1 jalapeno

1 bunch of dill (chopped)

4 tablespoons caviar / masago /fish roe

Methods:

  • Combine warm water, instant yeast, and sugar in a bowl and leave it for 5 mins.

  • In a large mixing bowl, add olive oil, salt, flour, and the yeast mixture. Use a wooden spoon to mix well. You could use an electric stand mixer to mix it.

  • Make a slightly sticky dough.

  • Drizzle little oil into another large bowl.

  • With your hand, make the dough into a round ball and transfer it to the greased bowl.

  • Then cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and place it in a warm place.

  • Allow dough to rise for 2 hours or until the dough is doubled in size.

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees C.

  • After 2 hours, when the dough has risen, use your hands to gently deflate it and transfer it to a lightly floured surface.

  • Then knead the dough for 2 to 3 mins or until it turns into a smooth ball.

  • Divide the dough into two equal portions.

  • Take a portion and roll it into a 12" circle with a rolling pin.

  • Transfer the flat dough to a pizza pan and pinch the edges or fold them over to form a nice crust.

  • Use a fork to poke holes all over the pizza to avoid the dough bubbling up in the oven.

  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Take out the pizza from the oven and let it cool down a little.

  • Spread the mascarpone cheese over the crust and next spread the smoked salmon, sprinkle chopped dill and jalapeno and top it off with fish roe/ caviar/masago.

  • Enjoy the creamy pizza!
