Chia seed,Yogurt and Fruit Parfaits !

A healthy breakfast should include whole grains, protein, and fruits or vegetables. The key is to find what works best for you and to mix it up to prevent boredom. Here is my everyday healthy breakfast!

Prep Time: 5 mins +( 4 hours of soaking time)

Making Time: 5 Mins

Serving: 1 serving


Ingredients:

2 tablespoons chia seed

1/2 cup almond milk

1 tablespoon raw honey 1/2 cup nonfat greek yogurt 1/2 cup fresh strawberries 1/2 chopped banana 1/2 cup granola

1 tablespoon raisins

1 tablespoon dried cranberries

1 teaspoon pumpkin seeds

1 teaspoon pinenuts

Directions:

  1. Soak the chia seed in almond milk and with honey over night or at least 3 to 4 hours before layering.

  2. Then layer soaked chia seed into the bottom of a tall glass. Then alternate layers of chopped strawberries, banana slices, pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, cranberry, raisin, and granola with yogurt until glass is filled to the top. Serve parfaits immediately to keep granola crunchy. You could add more strawberries and granollas on the top.
