A homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte that I can enjoy any time of the year! đâ
Ingredients
For the Pumpkin Spice Syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
3 tbsp pumpkin puree
1 tsp pumpkin spice
For the Latte:
1 cup milk
1/2 cup brewed coffee or 1shot of espresso
2 tbsp pumpkin spice syrup (adjust to taste)
Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Extra pumpkin spice for garnish
Instructions
1. Make the Pumpkin Spice Syrup:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
Add the pumpkin puree and spice. Stir well to combine.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and let it cool. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve if you want a smoother syrup.
Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
2. Make the Latte:
Heat the milk in a saucepan or microwave until steaming (but not boiling). Froth it using a frother, or whisk.
Brew your coffee or espresso.
In a coffee mug, combine the coffee and pumpkin spice syrup. Stir to mix.
Pour the frothed milk over the coffee mixture.
Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle extra pumpkin spice if desired.
Enjoy your cozy, homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte! đâ
