Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Latte!

A homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte that I can enjoy any time of the year! 🎃☕




Ingredients

For the Pumpkin Spice Syrup:

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 3 tbsp pumpkin puree

  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice


For the Latte:

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee or 1shot of espresso

  • 2 tbsp pumpkin spice syrup (adjust to taste)

  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

  • Extra pumpkin spice for garnish


Instructions


1. Make the Pumpkin Spice Syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

  2. Add the pumpkin puree and spice. Stir well to combine.

  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove from heat and let it cool. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve if you want a smoother syrup.

  5. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.


2. Make the Latte:

  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan or microwave until steaming (but not boiling). Froth it using a frother, or whisk.

  2. Brew your coffee or espresso.

  3. In a coffee mug, combine the coffee and pumpkin spice syrup. Stir to mix.

  4. Pour the frothed milk over the coffee mixture.

  5. Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle extra pumpkin spice if desired.
