Who doesn't love a spritz, especially with friends! This is a colorful, delicious and fun drink!
Aperol Spritz is a popular Italian cocktail loved for its vibrant orange color and refreshing taste.
The Aperol Spritz is little bit bittersweet and citrusy flavor. Aperol,is the main ingredient, When combined with the effervescence of Prosecco and the lightness from soda, it creates a well-balanced and highly refreshing cocktail.
I made this big batch for a party!
Ingredients:
1 cup Aperol
3.5 cups or bottle of Prosecco (or any other dry sparkling wine)
1.5 cups (or 1 can) Orange Sparkling Seltzer water or any other fruitty Sparkling Seltzer
1 tsp orange bitters
Ice cubes
Orange or Lemon slices for garnish
For a smaller batch, use a smaller ratio.
Instructions:
Fill a large tumbler with ice cubes.
Pour 1 cup of Aperol over the ice in the glass.
Top the Aperol with 1 cup of Prosecco or any other dry sparkling wine.
Add the soda water to the mix. This helps to balance the sweetness of the Aperol.
Add teaspoon of orange bitters to add more citrusy aroma.
Add orange or lemon slices to the mixer.The citrusy aroma complements the flavors of Aperol.
Give the cocktail a gentle stir to combine the ingredients.
Garnish the cocktail with an orange slice.
Serve the Aperol Spritz immediately.
