Super Healthy Basil Seeds Ginger Green Smoothie!

My smoothie base is thick greek yogurt, so I added an equal quantity of chilled water with it. My green smoothie is made with green vegetables - apple, cucumber, and leafy greens - spinach. Usually, raw veggies or leafy greens have a bitter taste but I balanced this by adding sweet fruits like bananas and adding honey. Also, as I added baby spinach, it gives less bitterness and added green apple and cucumber add freshness. Lime juice cleanse the palate with the sour taste and ginger for extra pungent flavor and of course the health benefits of ginger. I added soaked basil seed on top for its benefits and its added texture.

Making Time: 5 Mins

Serving: 4 servings


Ingredients:

1 cup greek yogurt ( thick)

1 cup water chilled water

2 small bananas

30 baby spinach leaves

1 green apple

1 large cucumber

1 lime juice

1-inch ginger piece

1 tablespoon honey

1/4 teaspoon rock-salt


1 tablespoon basil seeds soaked for 5 mins



Methods:


Grind everything together except the soaked basil seeds.

After grinding pour the smoothie into a glass and add a teaspoon of soaked basil on top.







You could mix the soaked basil seeds with the mixture or serve it as it is.
